EAGAN, Minn. – Women in Trucking (WIT) recently announced their 2021 Top Companies for Women to Work for in Transportation, honoring Bay & Bay Transportation (Bay & Bay) in that list.
The Top Companies for Women to Work for in Transportation list is released yearly and is created by WIT magazine Redefining the Road in 2018. It continues their mission to promote businesses that place importance on the increased employment of women in the trucking industry. Searching for companies that fit the parameters set by WIT, over 100 transportation businesses were nominated for this award. These attributes include: a supportive culture of gender diversity, flexible hours and work requirements, competitive compensation, quality benefits training, continued education and development, career advancement opportunities, and well-maintained/safe equipment & facilities for drivers.
