Audio from a recent police chase that ended in the truck thief being tased off of the top of a train has been released, along with some photos.
Clips from the radio communication between police officers as they pursued the stolen semi truck through Portsmouth, Ohio over the weekend have been stitched together to reveal the confusion and chaos caused by the extensive chase.
The audio clips start with officers describing the driver’s striking of multiple poles and fire hydrants before the police finally realize this guy isn’t a trucker and “it’s probably gonna be a stolen.”
“Driving on the sidewalks, hit another car,” a female officer describes.
“He lost the trailer,” another adds.
“I just got a 911 call from a Norfolk employee advising that the male has jumped on a train…” states another.
