Investigation underway after multiple semi trucks burn in Sacramento

Firefighters responded to an early Monday morning blaze that damaged several semi trucks.

Around midnight on Monday, May 16, firefighters responded to a reported vehicle fire near a tire shop at 7609 Wilbur Way in south Sacramento, California.

When crews arrived on scene, they found “multiple semi trucks on fire.”

Metro Fire of Sacramento requested additional resources to help knock down the fire.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the vehicle fire.

No injuries were reported.

The exact number of trucks damaged isn’t yet clear.

Metro Fire of Sacramento is investigating the cause of the fire.
