A trucker’s dramatic brake lights raise some questions in this dash cam clip.
In the video, a car traveling behind the truck is surprised to see that the driver’s brake lights flash dramatically when they slow down. In the video, the lights appear purple, but it’s very possible they are actually blue and red in real life.
“I believe that to be super illegal,” commented one viewer.
“It is. If pulled over they will need a super expensive tow too since that is not safe to drive. Not to mention the tickets, the down time of not being able to drive for the next 12+ hours, pissing off whoever you were supposed to deliver to, the points on your CDL license, etc.” added another.
