Great job, driver!

April 26, 2014 began like any other day for Prime, Inc. co-drivers and cousins, Boyd Miles and Christopher Crandall, however, just miles into their trip, their lives would be forever changed.

When asked about the incident, Bearce said, “If I hadn’t done what I did, there is no doubt in my mind he would have died in that car. I did what I thought I had to do. I’m far from a hero.” Bearce’s efforts earned him more than just the gratitude of the driver – he was also recognized as a TCA Highway Angel.

A truck driver is being called a hero after saving the lives of two children who had been involved in a horrific accident.

At approximately 7:00 pm on July 5, 2014, Taylor Truck Lines driver Jose Nuñez was traveling on I-10 westbound near the Okaloosa-Santa Rosa county line in Florida, when he saw a van roll and then come to a stop upside down.

The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) recently named its newest Highway Angel for helping another truck driver whose safety was in a horrific accident.

Two truck drivers and former Marine Corps veterans helped a Kansas State trooper in need.

“People freeze in their footsteps when they see something happen like this,” he said. “But I could hear the guy screaming for help... it would have been very bad for him if we hadn’t gotten those flames out.”
