The reward for information on missing trucker David Schultz has been increased to nearly $28,000.
Schultz of Wall Lake, Iowa has been missing since November 2023 after disappearing under mysterious circumstances. His semi truck was found on the side of a road near his delivery location, but facing the opposite direction. The trailer was still loaded with pigs, and his wallet and phone were still inside.
The reward for any information on his disappearance or whereabouts increased from $2,000 to $25,000 earlier this month after a unanimous vote by the Sac County Board of Supervisors to utilize American Rescue Plan Act funds. The remaining $2,800 of the reward was secured through “ongoing contributions that the community has provided to the Sac County Crime Stoppers account for David Schultz specifically,” reported Sioux City Journal.
