Obtaining A CDL As A Felon
A felony conviction for the following offenses will prevent a person from receiving a CDL at the federal level, which is required to drive between states or across country:
- Vehicular manslaughter
- Trafficking or distribution of controlled substances, materials, or weapons
Other felonies that could prevent someone from obtaining a federal CDL are:
